1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Hughey's Judo app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be 17 or older to use this app. It is built for adult members and coaches at Hughey's Judo, Gracie Tampa South, and is not intended for use by minors.

3. What this app is

The app is a free tool for our own members and coaches: class schedules, check-in, belt progress, promotion history, club announcements, technique reference, and messaging between members. Using the app is separate from your actual enrollment and any dues owed to the club. The app does not itself create or waive any membership or payment obligation you have with Hughey's Judo.

4. Your account

You sign in with Sign in with Apple or a one-time code emailed to you; there are no passwords. You're responsible for keeping your device and Apple ID secure, since that's what controls access to your account. Keep your profile information accurate, especially your emergency contact.

5. Acceptable use

When using messaging or any other feature that reaches other members or coaches, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse another member or coach
• Post anything unlawful, obscene, or unrelated to the club
• Impersonate another person
• Attempt to access another member's account or data

Coaches and admins can see message content and app activity as needed to run the club and address misconduct. We may suspend or deactivate an account that violates these terms.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of anything you submit: messages, your profile photo, and any other content. By submitting it, you give us a license to store and display it within the app to the people it's meant for (for example, a group chat's participants, or your coaches). Don't submit anything you don't have the right to share.

7. Assumption of risk

Judo is a full-contact sport with an inherent risk of injury. This app tracks training records and communicates club information. It does not provide medical advice, and nothing in the app is a substitute for your own judgment about your fitness to train or for any liability waiver you've signed with the club in person. You participate in judo training at Hughey's Judo at your own risk.

8. Payments

The app itself is free. If the club ever charges dues or mat fees through the app, those payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms, and are never handled as an Apple In-App Purchase.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if your club membership ends.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hughey's Judo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability for injury caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify members in the app.
